AIS Risk receives fees and/or commissions directly for the placement of insurance coverages. We sometimes use other parties as intermediaries in the placement of insurance policies. In those cases, it is not unusual for those third parties to also receive fees and/or commissions. In addition, we may receive contingent payments or extra commissions from some insurers that are not linked to any specific client, but are based on our overall performance with respect to growth, retention, and loss experience for a particular insurer.
